Tamara and AJ injected a unique aviary component to the decor on their wedding day. By incorporating bright, blue colors and a unique vintage car, we made some beautiful images that were truly unique. Simply Country Barn hosted the event and Adam Shea Photography captured the action throughout the day. Sound Sensations Entertainment provided music to keep us dancing at the wedding reception that evening.

The Couple | Tamara & AJ

Tamara and AJ are an extremely compatible duo.  Tamara knows what she wants.  AJ wants to be able to help Tamara achieve that.  This was exactly what they had in mind for their wedding day.

Tamara worked tirelessly to construct a unique, rustic and whimsical bird-themed barn wedding.  She pulled it off with 'flying' colors.  Pun absolutely intended.

The combination of bright colors, rustic charm and aviary details made their wedding one-of-a-kind.  Her creativity let loose on the biggest day of her and AJ’s life.  As I was taking photographs, I couldn’t help but admire the time, effort and care put into every detail of the day.  It truly was unique.

The Wedding Ceremony | Tryba's Simply Country Barn - Freedom, WI

The ceremony was extremely beautiful.  Tamara and AJ stood at the front of Simply Country Barn with intense emotion in their eyes.  Both of them were hanging on every syllable of what the officiant was saying.

The day was extremely humid and the barn was hot.  But Simply Country Barn was on it; they placed enormous, whirling fans across the room of chairs which kept the air moving.  It became comfortable quite quickly which allowed us to focus on more important things.  Like Tamara and AJ.

Wedding Party Photos | Plamann Park - Freedom, WI

After the ceremony, we took a large round of family photos.  We had to get creative because the outdoor conditions were very warm.  So, we stayed inside and decided to use the natural light from the window to create our own “barn studio.”  It worked out well and produced a nice, soft even light for the traditional family portraits afterward.

After family photos, we went outside for a few photos in an immaculate, powder blue Pontiac GTO.  The imagery was amazing!  It coordinated extremely well with Tamara’s colorful wedding bouquet and her and AJ’s white "bride and groom" sunglasses.

We stopped at Plamann Park in Appleton to take a few more photos of the wedding party and Tamara and AJ.  My assistant shooter, Sara Matuszak, helped photograph the gentlemen and I took the ladies.  We threw some shade, got some shade and…well…tried to stay in the shade.

After coming back together, we snapped a few photos of the entire wedding party with a little surprise.  Or, a big bang I should say.  They had brought along party poppers that, when pulled, released an explosion of confetti everywhere.  A couple of wedding party members pulled the string on the canons while I snapped the shutter and…POW!  Magic.  We got some really fun photos of everybody partying before we left.

The Reception | Simply Country Barn and Sound Sensations Entertainment

The reception was an intimate...and wild event.  If there is anyone that pull off those two phrases in the same party, it’s Tamara and AJ.  We took photos outside near sunset on the back of the barn near a field with tall grass.  Gentle hues of blue, orange and lavender began to fill the sky as they held up a wreath that said “Thank You.”  Tamara’s bridesmaid helped her make the wreath and has been known to wield her Cricket machine to create incredible, crafty creations.  They both may even go into business someday.

Sound Sensations Entertainment played an extra special request from Tamara.  What most guests didn't know is that Tamara choreographed a special dance with her father.  She took her dad's hand and he twirled her around.  It was formal and organized, yet she let loose and allowed her wedding dress to twirl about several times.  At the end, her father gave her a big kiss on the forehead.

As the night neared an end, we took photos with just about everyone at the reception.  Tamara is definitely a photo person.  The more, the better.  And for good reason.  Her big, beautiful smile and AJ’s kind, soft demeanor make these two one of the most photogenic couples of the summer.
